I know this is recognizes as a children's memory verse by many ... but read it aloud. GOD LOVES US - ALL of us!!! So much that he sent his son to die for our sin. He died to save me!!! And if I have faith and believe in him and love him I will have everlasting life! That is a promise of love. A gift of love. Just so amazing!!!
I keep thinking of the song "Dare to be different" by the McKameys that my mom and dad played on a record when I was young. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/1045988 I'll dare to be different in a world of compromise and I'll stand for you Jesus though I might be criticized. For many years ridiculed, mocked and crucified. So I'll dare to be different set apart and sanctified.

I learned this passage a loooong time ago as a scripture song. and during the most trying times of my life when I couldn't put thoughts into words I could always remember this passage. To me it brings so much comfort.
and btw... my fave chik fil a food is the basic chicken sandwich!!! with TONS of mayo!!! thanks for doing this!!
One of my favorite verses is John 11:35, the shortest verse of the Bible. "Jesus wept" This reminds me that it's OK to cry and have emotions as I travel and often struggle in this life, Jesus had emotions too.
I LOVE Chickfila! My go-to favorites are the original sandwich, sweet tea, and I really like the new chocolate chip cookie too!
Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
It is one of the biggest reminders that God is my refuge and strength. It comforts me to know He is always with me through life struggles when I feel stressed, to stop and listen to His whispers and ignore the roaring lion to be Still and know that He is God.
My favorite scripture is Matthew ch.11 verse 28 Come unto me,all ye that labor and are heavy laden,and I will give you rest. This verse lets me know that WHATEVER the BURDEN,SIN,PROBLEM is,HE is able to overcome it and bring PEACE.
