Welcome to the June Fresh Brewed Designs Three Day Blog Hop!
I am soooo thrilled/excited/honored to be a Guest for this hop! Thanks, Heather - I ♥ ya!
If you are getting here from Kenzie's blog then you are right on track. If you are just finding your way to our fun filled, extra caffeinated, and mega inspiring blog hop, then please start at the beginning here: Freshly Brewed Challenges.

The Fresh Brewed Designs Team and Guests have put together an exciting blog hop TODAY and ALL THIS WEEKEND featuring handmade cards inspired by our new released Rubber Stamps: Hello Girlfriend and You+Me=BFF.

For my card I chose to create with You+Me=BFF.  I totally fell in love with this image when I saw it. It's so sweet, and I loved that they are wearing modest and feminine dresses, so I can totally use this for cards to my church friends (our conviction is based in Deuteronomy 22:5 and 1Timothy 2:9). Score! :)

But this one is just for my TOC-BFF Heather.  She is an amazing lady, and a blessing to me.  We can (and have) talked about anything and everything, and often crack each other up. But what I value most in Heather is that our friendship isn't based on stamps and wit, though that is what the Lord used to help knit our hearts. It's based on our faith in and love for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.  And I'm sending her this card to let her know how much I appreciate our special fellowship...along with some words of encouragement ;)  We'll see if she can guess what I'm hinting at :)

I had a lot of fun paper piecing the dresses, and then just did some quick & simple Copic coloring on the rest.  Since Heather and I live several states apart, I used a strip of colorful map pattern paper, and layered it with some washi tape. I can hardly believe it's mid-June already, but I embraced the season with a soft, summery color palette.
Now, I know you at this point in the hop, you are eager to get your hands on these fab new stamps!  For this hop weekend only you have the chance to purchase both stamps at an extra special deal!  You can get both stamps for $10!!! Such a deal!

I have to tell you that when I went to ink mine up, I was amazed again at how thick and lovely the rubber is on FBD stamps!  Very deeply etched and the images are super crisp, making this deal even more of a steal!
Here's a complete list of all the participating blogs in today's hop - be sure to hit every stop! You really don't want to miss out!!!

Spring Break

Taking a break from my "Going Grey..." series to celebrate Spring! I trust that you had a blessed weekend. We had a truly wonderful weekend, the highlight of which was yesterday. The church services were a blessing and encouragement, and it being the 2nd Sunday of the month, we observed the Lord's Supper, which was extra special on Resurrection Sunday. I also officially became a member at our new church, which the Lord led me to a few weeks ago. He has confirmed repeatedly that this is the place He would have us, and as we were talking with friends after last night's service, it was another blessing to hear my mom tell others how happy she is there and how much she is learning and growing in her understanding. Praise God!

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1

A new season in life with a new church, a new season in the earth, and the new life we have in Christ as born again believers, reconciled with the Father, because of Jesus's perfect sacrifice on the cross and His victory over death and sin when He rose on the third day. Amen and amen!

As Christians, we have so much to rejoice about, and we shouldn't keep it to ourselves.

I made this card using "Stella" from The Greeting Farm. I love me some digis, but some things are just easier/quicker/better in rubber, and for me, paper piecing is one thing I love rubber for. I raided my stash for the beautiful papers from Basic Grey's "Sultry" collection, and then raided my button and twine stashes for embellies.

I'm entering this in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #45 "Buttons and Bows", the Ribbon Carousel Challenge RCC47 "Spring Is in the Air", and the Fresh Brewed Challenge FBC90 "Tie It Up". (I hope to be back with another Fresh Brewed Challenge entry later this week!)

Have a blessed day!

Friends of Faith - SNR Blog Hop

Welcome to Scrapbook News and Review Magazine's A Faith Perspective Thankful for Friends Faith Blog Hop! Today, we're out in force on the internet -- showing our faith and giving the glory to God. United, we stand as Christian paper crafters and blog owners to make a presence on the internet for all to see. We're celebrating the theme of friends and we're happy to share our projects with you based on the verse:

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. " Ecc4:9-10a

If you've arrived from Angela's amazingly wonderful blog, you are hopping right along. If you're just joining in on the fun, you can find the start of the train here. First, we would like to take a moment to thank our generous co-sponsors: Layers of Color Stamps, Gina K Designs Stamps and Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. The card I'm sharing today is all about friendship and fellowship. Over the past 2 years, I've realized that God places specific people in our lives at specific times according to His purpose. It may start by sharing a cup of coffee and opening our hearts to one another, or through papercrafting. Through these friendships, He teaches us and draws us ever closer to Him. Before long, we discover that friendship has become fellowship, and where there is fellowship, there is God. What a blessing! Thank you, Lord!

The next stop on this blog hop is: Angella and you will not be dissapointed with the work of art she has to share with you.

Thanks for hopping and God Bless!
