The Weather Channel never actually labeled it a blizzard, but what else do you call 18-inches of snow in a 24-hour period???
My survival technique: Stamping in a Spring-like fashion!
I keep telling myself that the Easter Bunny will be hop-hop-hopping on by soon, but of course, Queen of Waiting-Until-The-Last-Minute that I am, this was the first weekend I stamped an Easter card. (Hey, I'm much better at 32 than I was at 29. So by 40 I should be an early bird!)

Once again, I don't know why, but my camera skills are lacking. You can kind of make out the dot pattern that I SpellBinder-ed on the pink card, but it's hard to see that the tan card has a basketweave SpellBinder-ed, and on the green strip, horizontal ripples. You'll take my word for it, I hope. The pattern paper on the pink card is LilyKate by BasicGrey. And the green scallop edged matting is courtesy of Michelle, the best Secret Sister ever!

oh ugh....I feel sorry for you covered in snow!! I wore my sandals to town today....(40's) just because I'm sick of winter!!
It's melting like nuts around here.
Glad you can use the punched pieces. I love having a pile to dig through....never know when one will come in handy!!
Catherine, too funny! I never even made the connection between the ark & the plumbing issues! LOL!!! You sound like me, always waiting until the last minute. "Oh, I'll have plenty of time!" yeah right! I'm especially bad when it comes to craft shows, you should see me running around, yikes! I'm trying to do better this year, starting now! The cards look cute! Wish I had some tips to give you, just what I've read from others blogs & posts. Have you tried a macro setting on your camera? The settings that are made for close-ups always seem to work best for me. I play around with my preset settings until I get one that takes a nice pic...it seems to always be the one for closeup pictures, like of text, etc. HTH!
Holy moly, that's a lot of snow! Geez, I'm in Illinois, and I'm so very sorry to say this, but I'm so glad it wasn't us for a change! This winter has been way too harsh, and I'm so ready for it to be over!
I love your cards! They're both spectacular! Maybe next time, photograph them one at a time, and we can then see them closer? That might help.
Princess is an Australian Shepherd! She's about 40 pounds, so she's not really big. She's our sweetheart! Thanks for the votes!! I really appreciate it!
Hey Catherine! Your cards are fabulous! I love the colors! Wow, that's a lot of snow. I'm so glad I'm in Southern California! No snow here, not even rain. It's very, very dry here! Last week we hit 87 degrees! Yuck. I wish it could remain in the 70s.

Oh, I do not miss the snow or the cold! These cards turned out super cute! I never make Easter cards, I guess I just never have anyone to give them to. Anyway, yours turned out fabulous.
These cards are so cute! Hopefully all that snow is gone now!
Your comment on my blog made me laugh! Oh Catherine, not only is the cat in the lead, I do believe that the cat has won. Oh no! Doesn't matter . . . Princess is a winner to US!
Cute Easter cards. I'm sorry to hear you got dumped with so much snow! We got just a few inches and that was enough.
okay, we've moved from snow to rain. Any survival tips for monsoons? I guess stamping in right in all weather!
Ugghhh... I'm so done withwinter and we've hardly had any snow this year.
Cute projects - I'm always way behind too. My plans always seem to turn out bigger than my time to do them. Oh well...
Hi Catherine! I hope the weather is getting better for you. It's still such a mess in the Midwest now, isn't it. I hope you're OK. Blog candy alert on my blog! Have a wonderful Easter! Woof to Charlie from Princess!
Sweet Easter cards. Love the layout with the band across it. Crazy about the snow. :0) Mel
What a winter!!! Even Christmas cards would not be fun and cheery now.
Spring, on the other hand, is the order of the day.
I really love these cards; cute and simple.
